Twins offers three plans: Free, Pro, and Enterprise.

Free

  • 3 clones per month (manual and scheduled combined)
  • Storage cloning up to 200 MB
  • 7-day clone history
  • No credit card required

The counter resets on the 1st of each month.

Pro — 19€/mo

  • Unlimited clones
  • Storage cloning up to 3 GB
  • 90-day clone history
  • Scheduled clones and Twin Restore
  • Monthly subscription via Stripe

Enterprise — Custom pricing

  • Unlimited clones
  • Unlimited storage cloning
  • 1-year clone history
  • Priority support
  • Contact sales for pricing

Storage Limits

Each plan has a storage cloning limit based on the total size of files in your source project:

If your source project storage exceeds your plan's limit, the storage toggle is disabled in the clone preview. You can still clone everything else — just not storage files.

The preview automatically detects the total storage size and shows it next to the Storage section.

Subscribing to the Pro Plan

  1. Go to Dashboard > Billing
  2. Click Upgrade to Pro
  3. You are redirected to the Stripe payment page
  4. Enter your payment information
  5. Confirm the subscription

Activation is immediate — you can start running unlimited clones as soon as you confirm.

Managing Your Subscription

Stripe Portal

From Dashboard > Billing, click Manage Subscription to access the Stripe portal where you can:

  • View your invoices
  • Update your payment method
  • Cancel your subscription

Cancellation

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until that date, then you revert to the Free plan.

Your twins, clone history, and data are not affected by the plan change.

Invoices

Invoices are available in the Stripe portal and on Dashboard > Billing. Each invoice shows:

  • Billing period
  • Amount
  • Status (paid, pending)

Free Plan Limits

When you reach the 3-clone limit:

  • You can no longer start a manual clone
  • Scheduled clones will no longer run
  • A message prompts you to upgrade to Pro
  • The counter resets on the 1st of the following month

Enterprise

Enterprise plans are not self-service. Contact sales to discuss pricing and get your account flagged as Enterprise.

Enterprise accounts get unlimited storage cloning, 1-year history retention, and priority support.

Billing FAQ

Do failed clones count? Yes, a started clone counts toward your quota even if it fails or is canceled.

Do verifications count? No, only clones (manual and scheduled) are counted.

Can I switch back to the Free plan after subscribing to Pro? Yes, by canceling your subscription. You revert to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.

What happens if my storage exceeds the plan limit? The storage toggle is automatically disabled in the clone preview. You can still clone all other components (schema, data, functions, etc.). Upgrade your plan or contact sales for higher limits.

Can I see how much storage my project uses? Yes, the clone preview shows the total storage size next to the Storage section label.
